After a busy and at times highly stressful first half of the
year, I am more than ready to hit the beaches of Hawaii for some much-needed
relaxation. Along with attending my sister-in-law’s wedding on the Big Island,
Stephen and I will also be spending a few days on Oahu ahead of time,
which I’m incredibly excited about.
Oahu is the one island we didn’t get to tour much during our honeymoon cruise three years ago, so I’m very much looking forward
to sightseeing, eating great food and celebrating the 4th of July on the island’s
famed North Shore.
To start getting into the Hawaiian spirit for our trip, we recently whipped up some delicious homemade mango sushi.
Also, since I still unfortunately haven’t had as much free time
to blog lately, feel free to link up with me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram,
where I’ll be sharing photos and updates from our trip. Of course, I’ll be sure
to post a recap or two here, as well, once we’ve returned and I’ve managed to get back
on track after being on island time for a couple glorious weeks!
Have you ever visited Oahu? Are there any sights or restaurants we absolutely must check out while we’re there?
