Although I haven’t yet started working with a critique
partner (not there yet), this hilarious graphic I found posted to
Facebook by Ladies Who Critique absolutely made my day!
Why, you ask? Quite simply because, critique
partners aside, this is the exact type of dialogue I subject myself to on a
regular basis as I move along through the first draft of my novel. This witty cartoon definitely reinforces my decision to silence the nagging voices and just keep on
going!
Happy Friday, and have a fabulous summer weekend!
I love the cartoon, especially the comments from the biology teacher and the marketing rep. Haha. Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteFunny! I love the reader's comment because it's so true that most people reading your book won't scrutinize it as much as a critique partner will. Happy writing. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome weekend...and hopefully you get loads of writing done!!
ReplyDeletecute cartoon! hope your weekend is awesome :)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how each individual from a profession thinks! The reader's reaction is typical, and I love the English Teacher and the mrktg rep.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I love the points of view.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, Heather!
